And the other two fingers (small and big), were used to move the puppet&#039;s arms. You don&#039;t always need the manipulator for them to wiggle. <br \/>\n<b>Ventriloquist puppets: <\/b>Ventriloquy, the art of throwing the voice, that is to say, that the speaker does so in such a way that the sound seems to come from a distance or from a different source than the one speaking. Usually, the ventriloquist \u2013 he keeps his lips tightly together, almost without moving them \u2013 uses a puppet to keep the audience&#039;s attention and increase the illusion that the character is the one speaking.
