\nWHAT HAPPENS TO MUG\u00c1N?<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

\nTO WORK THE SADNESS<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nIn
\n the jungle of Taim\u00e1n, the animals had time for everything: time for
\nwork, time to eat, time to sleep, time to play and one
\ntime in which each family of animals gathered and did not eat, nor
\nthey didn't sleep, they didn't play, they didn't work: they only devoted this time to
\nto be together and to talk about any issue that concerned them or any of them
\nmatter that affected the members of the group.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nThe
\n family of monkeys was very numerous and chief Torunga took care of them all
\nas if he were a loving father, but he got very angry if any member
\nof the group did not carry out his orders or if someone wanted to command more than him.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nIn
\n this group included the monkey Miranda and the monkey Tob\u00edas, who had two
\nsons who were called Tumbi and Tumbe. In addition, Mug\u00e1n was with them
\n and Ciro, two young monkeys, and a young and orphaned monkey called Carinda.<\/span><\/div>\n
\neveryone
\n he knew what he had to do at every moment, but Mug\u00e1n, when he arrived
\nwhen he was having fun, he would sit on a branch
\npensive, while his companions jumped, played or hung their heads
\ndown seeing everything upside down.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nWhen they went to bathe in the river, he would stay on the bank watching them having fun and throwing water at each other.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nWhen it came time to eat, Mug\u00e1n didn't show that he was hungry and the food they offered him was most appetizing.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nYes
\n it was time to work picking fruit and cutting branches or cleaning weeds
\nherbs in the common area, Mug\u00e1n was showing tiredness and it was obvious that he wasn't
\nhe worked with enthusiasm.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nOne afternoon, Chief Torunga brought everyone together in the time dedicated to sharing and talking, and proposed the following:<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>Mugan:
\n We don't know what's wrong with you, but we're all worried about you.
\nYou hardly eat, you look tired at work and you do it reluctantly. The
\nwhat surprises us the most is that you don't want to play with others or have fun.
\nWe want to know what's wrong with you. Do you want to explain it to us?<\/span><\/div>\n
\nMug\u00e1n turned red, which is very unusual for a monkey, and said no, shaking his head.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n-It is
\n well - said Torunga - each of us will think of some reason for the
\nthat you can be sad and tomorrow we will meet again to hear the opinion
\nof all. When you let me know what's wrong with you, we'll find a way to help you. use

\n they replied that it was a good idea and when the time of the
\nmeeting they continued with their daily tasks while thinking about the
\npossible cause of Mug\u00e1n's sadness.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nThe next day in the afternoon the whole group gathered to talk and share. Chief Torunga said:<\/span><\/div>\n
\n-How
\n you know, each of you can tell us why you think that en
\nMug\u00e1n is sad, and as always the youngest member of ours will start
\ngroup<\/span><\/div>\n
\nIn
\n Tumbi straightened up in his seat. He felt very proud to be
\n the first to speak and for everyone to listen carefully. I knew that
\nin other animal families it was not so. The little one hardly knows
\nhe didn't ask anything, much less was he asked for his opinion.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n- I think that Mug\u00e1n is sad because he doesn't like this place, he likes where we lived before.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–
\n Very good observation, Tumbi - said Torunga. For being so small
\nyou have already realized that sometimes changing the place to live does not
\neveryone likes it equally. I still remember the mountains where
\nwe lived before, but I also remember hunters and fires. was
\n very dangerous to continue living in that beautiful place - said Torunga
\nmaking a sad face-. And you, Tumbe, what do you think?<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–
\n I think he is sad because he is not as agile as us. The other
\nday we laugh at him because he fell from the tree when jumping from one
\nbranch to the other and we called him "clumsy monkey".<\/span><\/div>\n
\n-Too
\n it can be a reason - said Torunga - although I think you all know that
\n each monkey has different abilities. Some are better at jumping, a
\n others to find food, to warn others of dangers, to others
\nothers cook...Mug\u00e1n is a magnificent forager of fruits and berries, and
\nthanks to him we eat these foods that we like so much, isn't it
\ntrue?<\/span><\/div>\n
\nEveryone
\n they nodded and looked at Mug\u00e1n to see if his face changed
\npay him a compliment and speak well of him, but he remained silent without saying
\nnothing. It seemed that this was not the reason for his sadness.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>Let's see Ciro, give us your opinion.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>- I think that Mug\u00e1n is sad because he likes Corinda and she doesn't pay attention to him.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nThe whole group looked at Mug\u00e1n and then at Corinda. She turned red up to her ears and said nothing.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>And you, Corinda, what do you think?<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>–
\n I think Mug\u00e1n feels a little lonely and thinks we don't pay attention to him.
\nThe other day he got very angry and said that we never leave him time for
\nto talk. He's partly right because I talk a lot and so do everyone else
\ntalkative When he starts talking we tend to interrupt him because he is
\n slower explaining things. Maybe he's sad about it.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>–
\n Very well Corinda, you yourself have realized how bad it is
\ncan feel someone when they are not listened to respectfully. Yes when Mug\u00e1n
\ntalk don't leave him, it's only logical that he feels bad.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>And you Miranda, who are like his mother, give us any ideas?<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>–
\n I think he's sad because I don't pay much attention to him and he may think I don't
\nI love him. As Tumbi and Tumbe are still small, I'm really looking forward to it
\nof them. Mug\u00e1n is already old but maybe he needs my attention too
\n affection I will be waiting for you more, Mug\u00e1n - he said approaching him and
\ngiving him a kiss.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>Mug\u00e1n remained silent and downcast.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>–
\n Tob\u00edas, you are like a father to Mug\u00e1n. You welcomed him very well when he went
\n come run away from the mountains. What do you think could happen to him?<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>i believe
\n that he is getting older and asking a lot of questions. I don't give them to him
\nanswers and I tell him that when he grows up he will understand everything. Maybe that's it
\nwhat he doesn't like<\/span><\/div>\n
\nTorunga got up and addressed everyone and thanked them.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n–       <\/span><\/span>Everyone
\n You have provided good ideas and I am very grateful. This shows that in
\nour group every member is important and we all want to help. But me
\nlooks like Mug\u00e1n needs to talk while we take a walk in the woods.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nThey all got up and continued with their occupations.<\/span><\/div>\n
\nTorunga put his arm around Mug\u00e1n's shoulders and the two of them started walking towards the forest.<\/span><\/div>\n

\ndiscovered what was happening to Mug\u00e1n and had given him very good advice.
