On November 19, 2022, the MIT, "International Puppet Museum of Catalonia" will be inaugurated.

He MIT is a project born from the hand of a creative woman, Teia Moner, and aims to be a meeting point for the puppetry world and a location where all the disciplines of the performing, visual and plastic arts converge, from tradition to the avant-garde.

It is located in the Masia de Can Falguera in Palau-solità i Plegamans (Vallès Occidental). It is a historic building with medieval, Gothic, Modernist and Noucentista elements. It is included in the catalog of goods to be protected from the Catalan cultural heritage.

An incomparable collection of puppets of the world that includes unique and singular pieces from the 19th to the 21st centuries. Stories of world heritage from the past and present. An inspiring place to learn, have fun and experiment. An open space to other artistic expressions where to share experiences through the transgressive and brave look that art offers us. A meeting point to contribute to the construction of a freer and more critical society.

A space open to all the performing arts in the format of festivals, exhibitions and residencies for companies. A place of cultural revitalization where inclusion and accessibility will be guaranteed.
Activities such as workshops on education and puppets, school visits, workshops for professionals and fans of the performing arts will be part of the educational offer.
The museum will work for a more inclusive world by fostering creativity which is the basis of all social and personal transformation.
