Targets
- Be able to differentiate some healthier foods from others.
- Perceive your own shadow and
the one produced by objects and the person themselves interposed in the light,
in front of the screen or in adequate sunlight.- Differentiate between object and shadow: the object can be grasped - it has volume - the shadow is flat.
- Recognize the different characters that are part of the play.
- Respect the material and use it following the guidelines of use given previously.
- Work on the basic vocabulary of the story
- Enjoy the activity.
Methodology
Let's go
of the idea that the organization and focus of the areas have a
global and integrative character. For this reason, so that the student
is able to stage the characters of the story, it will begin to
work on the habit from direct experience (discovery of
the shadow itself projected on the screen and of different objects a
starting from fun activities) and later the habit of
have a good diet, telling a story and presenting theirs
characters.
Timing
One hour a week during the last term of the course.
Evaluation
By means of an observation grid.
Material
– Paper and colors, various objects, transparent paper, light, shadow screen, scissors, adhesive tape, computer, scanner.
Explanation of the activity
- Preliminary work is done with shadows and light:
- Free movements suggested by the discovery of one's own shadow projected on the screen are experienced.
- Exercises are done to guess through the shadow the parts of the body, objects…
- Discovery of opaque bodies and transparent bodies.
- Explanation of the story by the teacher.
- Characters are drawn (optional), or used ones.
- The drawings are scanned, printed and plasticized (done by the teacher).
- The shadows mount.
- The story is then rehearsed with the help of the teacher and a performance is given. There is the option to have it recorded.
